FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING SIGN-UPS
Come join the Elmore Park Packers for our 40th Football & Cheer season.
We will be holding Football and Cheerleading sign-ups for ages 6-13, June 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 12-2 p.m. at Milanos Pizza. New pariticipants will need to bring a recent picture and a copy of the birth certificate.
Milanos is located at 7625 US Highway 64, Bartlett,TN 38133.
DEANGELO WILLIAMS U OF M FOOTBALL CAMP
University of Memphis is having a NFL Football Camp. It is to be held June 22 & 23 and is open to campers ages 6-18.
It is being hosted by Marcus Bell,Deangleo Williams,Reggie Howard and 2 other players.

WARNING: NEW STREET DRUGS TARGET OUR CHILDREN
There has been 2 recent introductions of street drugs. One is called "Strawberry Quick" which is nothing more the Meth with a strawberr flavoring added to it. Its cheap and its primary target is kids.

Cheese is cheap at $2 a hit and the Meth counterpart is said to be cheap as well. With Summer coming up, our kids will have time on their hands, so lets keep them busy, warn them of the pitfalls of drug use and running with the wrong crowd. |
SYS CHANGES AGE FOR PARTICIPATION IN FOOTBALL
Sept. 30th is now the new age cut-off for participation in SYS Football.
This will mean you will have to be 6 prior to Sept. 30th to participate in football. The biggest change will be for the Senior division in that you cannot turn 14 prior to Sept. 30th. There will still be 4 age divisions.
SYS ADDS NEW MEMBER AREA TO THE PROGRAM
Begining this fall, SYS will be adding a new member Area to the Association. With the addition of the Whitehaven Raiders to the program SYS will have a total of 15 member Areas for Football and Cheer. There are a total of 16 member Areas but the Golden Saints participate only in Track. |
