REVISED ELMORE PARK SCHEDULE POSTED TO THE WEBSITE: Seniors Get 8 Game Schedule
REGULAR SEASON SCHDULE CHANGES The revised Elmore Park 2006 Football Schedule has been posted to the website. Of special note to those of you who may have already familiarized themselves with the old schedule and maybe made plans around those dates, note and highlight the following changes: The Bye Week has changed from Oct 14th to Oct 7th: The regular season schedule has not changed in terms of who we play just the Bye week has changed. The conference schedule and pairings have remained the same as well. THE SENIOR SCHEDULE WILL BE DIFFERENT FROM THE BANTAM, PEEWEE, JUNIOR SCHEDULE The SYS Board faced many challenges in putting together the Senior Schedule. Every attempt was made to make sure the programs that have Senior programs were rewarded for maintaining a Senior program by having as many of those programs play each other throughout the season. However no matter how much effort was put into schedule, there will be some away travel for the Seniors on game days. This means there will be a couple games where the Seniors may be playing at sites different that the Bantams, Peewees and Juniors. The reason for this problem is 5 of the 14 SYS programs have opted out of the Senior Program. With 9 Areas fielding Senior Squads, only compounded the scheduling issues. SENIORS WILL NOW HAVE AN 8 GAME SCHEDULE One benefit to the new schedule, is the Seniors will play a full 8 game schedule. NO CONFERENCE BASED SYSTEM FOR THE SENIOR DIVSION If you want to check out the Senior Schedule the information can be found at the Scores and Schedules link at the EPP Homepage. Through the use of these feeds you can now stay up to speed on local and natioanl Prep Sports News via USA Today and the Commercial Appeal. Coverage for the Collegiate Ranks is provided by ESPN and Sports Illustrated is our NFL new provider. One of the coolest is the direct feed from the Coach-T.com message boards which gives you live instaneous feeds of the latest information from across the prep football ranks in the State of Tn.
