GAME RESULTS AND SCORES POSTED TO THE WEBSITE: ELMORE PARK SPLITS 2 AND 2 WITH THE VISITING BRONCOS
What an absolutely fantastic day of football action this past Saturday. This has got to be some of the best contested football games I've seen in a long time. 4 evenly matched opponents, both well coached each fighting for the win..
In the first match-up of the day, the Bantams took the win outscoring the Broncos 12 to 8. Next up the Pee Wees walked away with a W in the win column by defeating the Broncos 12 to 0. .
The Junior and Senior games were off the chart. Great team play, both teams skill levels peaking at the right time here at mid-season. In the Junior match-up, the score was 0 to 0 at end regulation play with the Broncos winning in overtime. At the Senior level, the Pack lost a heartbreaker 6 to 8. Congratulations to all of our teams for their great showing at Homecoming!!!!

LIGHTING PROJECT COMPLETED ADDITIONAL FIELD WORK PLANNED FOR THE OFFSEASON
Wow. Elmore Park can now boast one of the best and well lit football fields in all of SYS. Just a few short years ago, the field was a wreck. You could see a dust cloud from a mile away when kids were playing on it.
A lot of hard work has gone into achieving this goal. Incremental investments over the last 3 years in 4 dumptruck loads of sand, ploughing up the field, overseeding, sod and this year spraying and fertilizer has really paid off. Now that the lights have been turned to the side field in with additional practice areas gained by sodding the baseball diamonds, there is pleny of room for our teams to practice without putting uncessary pressure on the playing surface. The fencing being taking down to open things up has been a big help as well. Conratulations and Thanks to all who have supported Elmore Parks efforts over the last 3 years!!!!! |
