The Elmore Park Track Club On a Roll!!!!!!!!!
The Elmore Park Track Club is having a fantastic season. As we approach the end of the 2004 Track & Field season, the Packer Track Club is looking forward to the successful conclusion of one of its finest track seasons on record.

There are sure to be many record breaking performances both individual, team in both the boys and girls divisions during first round of SYS Track Championships which is less than a week away.

Many SYS records have be set by the Pack and more are sure to fall by the conclusion of the 2004 track season. We will be posting the results to the website as they come in.

With 86 participants your Elmore Park Track Club is the number 3 program in SYS.
The Elmore Family Fun Day: Start Making Your Plans to Attend
Sunday May 16th Elmore Park will be having a Family Fun Day for all of our Track, Cheer and Football participants in celebration of the conclusion of the Track and Field season and the begining of the Football, Cheer season.

Each of you are invited to attend. The event will be held in Pavilion 3 adjacent to the horse stables at Shelby Farms and will kick-off at 1 p.m. On then menu will be BBQ, hamburgers, hotdogs. The sodas are courtesy of Pepsi Cola bottling.

Don’t forget to bring a fishing pole. There might be something for the individual that catches the largest and smallest fish.
SENIOR FOOTBALL IS ALIVE AND WELL AT ELMORE PARK
There should be no confusion about it. Elmore Park will have a Senior Football team this coming 2004 Football Season..

Coaches are in place, uniforms have been ordered and everything is set to go. If you are a 7th, 8th or 9th grader that will not turn 15 prior to Dec. 15th you are eligible to play for the Pack..

There are a lot of advantages to playing 7th and 8th grade football at Elmore Park..

Here Are Just A Few:.

1. An 8 game schedule with a 3 round playoff schedule: Other leagues only have 5 or 6 games..

2. No year round practices: You begin practice in August and the season is over the 2nd week in November..

3. Squad Size Is Smaller: Because squad size is smaller you get the chance to hone your skills and get more playing time..

4.Low Cost: Yeah some say they are free to play but pack on extra charges once you start. We tell you what its going to cost and that’s it..

5.Not getting Defined By The High School Coaches: By playing in the other league the high school coaches may decide where you are going to play for them as early as the 7th or 8th grade. With SYS you get the chance to develop at your own pace, and still have fun and try a lot of positions. You might not get this chance with the other league..

6.Eligible for SYS Scholarship Moneys: 3 former Elmore Park Participants won $2000 in scholarship moneys at this years SYS scholarship banquet..

7.Play for a Proven Winner: Elmore Park was the 2nd and 3rd place finisher in 2001 and 2002 SYS League play..

8.Learn the Fundamentals that will allow you to play at the High School Level: 8 of the starting offensive players on the 2003 Bartlett High School football team were former Elmore Park Packers.
